New Name Announced: United American Orthodox Catholic Church

Today, Presiding Bishop Nicholas Anthony announced that, effective Easter Sunday 2025, our Church will embrace a new name: The United American Orthodox Catholic Church.

This change reflects our continued commitment to the faith of the ancient, undivided Church—expressed through Traditional, inclusive Orthodoxy, the sacramental life, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Though our name is new, our mission remains the same: to be a welcoming, Spirit-filled Church rooted in unity, compassion, and the enduring love of Christ.

We look forward to this new chapter together.
