Opening Fall of 2025 Semester
The Three Hierarchs Orthodox Catholic Seminary forms Missional Laity, Religious, Deacons, Permanent Deacons, and Priests to be good shepherds by molding their hearts in the image of Christ, the Good Shepherd. From this foundation, the Seminary guides them in discipleship, service, and ministry rooted in the Gospel.
The Three Hierarchs Orthodox Catholic Seminary exists as a progressive voice within the Orthodox tradition, "Proclaiming the kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ with all boldness and without hindrance." (Acts 28:31), preparing clergy, religious, and laity for faithful and transformative mission.
The mission of the Seminary is carried out under the leadership of the Presiding Bishop of the United American Orthodox Catholic Church and the Holy Synod, guided by the wisdom and living tradition of the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church.
The Three Hierarchs Seminary will form humble, holy, and mission-focused Deacons, Priests, Religious, and Laity, called to embody a life of service, sanctity, and Spirit-led ministry in the world.
Founded in 2019 by the Most Reverend Anthony Hash, OSB, the first Presiding Bishop of the United American Orthodox Catholic Church, The Three Hierarchs Orthodox Catholic Seminary seeks to affordably educate students not only in the faith but in practical ministry for the 21st century.
Though based in historic Orthodoxy, the Seminary is founded in Traditionally Inclusive Orthodoxy, ensuring a formation experience that honors both Eastern and Western Christian traditions.
The Three Hierarchs Seminary offers a flexible, three-year program divided into eight-week sessions. Classes may be started at any time and are completed at a pace suited to each seminarian. Course offerings span from theological foundations, homiletics, and Biblical studies to pastoral care, mission and parish development, discipleship, and chaplaincy. Continuing Education classes are available at no cost for UAOCC clergy, and specialized courses are open to Benedictine and Franciscan novices of the Church.
The Seminary works in close collaboration with the UAOCC Office of Vocations to ensure every student receives a well-rounded, spiritually grounded, and academically solid formation.
